Each city in America deals with the problem of homelessness in different ways. In the streets of major cities in America, you will see many homeless people, homeless children, homeless youth, homeless families. There are few homeless shelters compared to the sheer number of homeless people and homeless kids in America.

There are many charitable, non-profit organizations that help the homeless in America. However, with so many other problems in the United States, the number of homeless people in America is not falling. With the slowdown in the real estate market throughout the U. s., foreclosures are rising, and with foreclosures come homelessness.
