Homelessness And Homeless Children Part Three
Homeless Children need friends and activities
Homeless Children like other children need friends and activities that are appropriate for their age and interests. This is not a want but a need for Homeless Children. All children need to socialize and play as well as study for uninterrupted periods of time. The study environment is important for Homeless Children to learn the importance of concentration. Moreover, Homeless Children need to be part of a group to feel accepted and not feel alone which can hurt Homeless Children ’s mental development. All of these necessary factors are important for a healthy growing up child and homeless child.
The importance of concentration
To be successful on any levels in this world, one need to be able to concentrate. Homeless Children need to learn how to concentrate from a very young age. Learning how to concentrate and being able to concentrate on doing something is a very important skill that everyone needs to learn including Homeless Children and homeless people. Unfortunately, being in a moving environment with no permanent homes and having to watch out for their backs all the time does not help teaching Homeless Children how to concentrate.
To learn how to concentrate needs a steady environment with no interruptions. Homeless Children don’t have the luxury of attending school or study at home in a quiet room, therefore homeless children tend to grow up being scattered brained and cannot hold attention to any one thing for a long time.
