Long waiting list for public housing contributes to homeless people being homeless

When a homeless person is forced to become homeless, he or she may seek public housing. However, with the enormous number of homeless people needing housing, the waiting list for public housing can be very long. While they wait, some homeless people have no choice but to live like homeless people.

Refugees from other nations may become homeless people in America

Some homeless people found in America are refugees from other nations. They seek refuge in America but since they have no possession, and eventually no money, they may become homeless people. Some of these homeless people refugees think that even though they are Homeless in America, they are better off here than in their own countries.

Veterans from war become homeless people

It is sad but true that some war veterans who went away to fight for their country and got sick or injured. When they come home broken, they end up being homeless people.

Homeless Children of homeless people grow up to become homeless people

There are also Homeless Children who live with homeless people. These Homeless Children either run away from their homes or have been kicked out of their homes and end up being Homeless Children. Without opportunities and proper guidance, they too grow up to become homeless people, just like the homeless people they live with.
